As prey animals, horses have a heightened awareness of their senses, which analyse body language, intention and energy levels of those around them. Whilst these senses are used in the wild to deliver their best chances of survival, they can also be used in a controlled and safe environment to provide instant and honest feedback to the handler on their leadership skills and how they may be perceived by others.
We believe that everyone can benefit from being around a horse. Ground work gives everyone that option. Riding may not be for you but you still may wish to be involved with these amazing creatures.
As horse and handler create a balanced relationship, the work can move on to liberty work (no lead rope). This develops your horses communication and self awareness skills to a deeper level.
We offer courses and one off sessions tailored to your needs. Some clients work on ground work to develop their understanding of themselves and the patterns they run in their daily lives, others to improve their understanding of horses and some wish to develop skills with our horses to take to their own horse.
For groups please see our corporate page.
"It was amazing to watch their confidence grow and you could see the more they believed in themselves the more the horses believed in them."
